Delivery Policy Our experience of courier companies is such that we choose to offer a personal service that covers the broad spectrum of design, construction, shipping, sale and delivery to your door. This applies to all mosaic (due to fragility) and all of our ironwork that travels with a mosaic platter. We hope that our service is therefore second to none but due to our small size and need to send more than one delivery out at a time in one direction we hope that you will allow us some flexibility on timing. In return we aim to keep to our delivery time schedule within half an hour if possible. Delivery Charges We normally send to UK destinations only, as sending abroad can incur a considerable cost due to the weight and fragility of the mosaic items. This can however be arranged and discussed with us. Wholesale by container internationally is another service we offer. We can naturally send the ironwork alone with some ease with other carriers and at a very low cost due to its resilience. Sending mosaic platters within the UK is usually undertaken by our personal van delivery, charged extra, and can be made at a time to suit you best and avoid much waiting in. There may be an additional double standard charge for immediate (within 3 days) deliveries of stock items. We normally aim to deliver stock items within two weeks and ordered items within two weeks of the container arrival. All deliveries to the Isle of Wight, Man, Channel Islands and Scottish Islands require separate quotation. At present Northern Ireland can only be served with ironwork or wholesale container deliveries unless a removal firm is used. Handling and Health and Safety Policy Delivery is to the customers’ accommodation, front door or garden location at the same level as the road access. Circular tops prove easy to roll but rectilinear tops require some aid. We are not responsible for lifting objects up/down stairs without sufficient temporary help arranged. We are happy to aid with this location process and will advise customers how many people are needed for safe removals. Circular tabletops can be handled by our driver but large rectangular tops will require more manpower. We find that for our customers the cheapest way to solve handling problems is to source extra hands locally at an agreed time. The alternative would be to send more than one person on the delivery with high charges resulting.
