This igneous rock can be put through a furnace and glazed in any desired colour, deep translucent glazes with a crackle finish, matt glazes and even metallic finishes. These tables will be as good as new in 30 years and require only a wipe over to keep them clean, knives can be used to chop on the surface and they are not easily damaged or broken with normal use.
